Carla and the entire team at Waiheke Island Resort were fantastic to work with for our wedding celebrations. Carla was so organised and supportive of our requirements in the lead up to our wedding and the team at the resort during the weekend were so accommodating. We booked out most apartments at the resort over three nights and held our Sunday recovery day at the pool. All of the guests had a great time and the food available was delicious. Would highly recommend working with Carla and the team at the resort for any wedding celebrations!! Thanks for making everything so easy and memorable for us.
We recently had our very first First Table dinner experience at Waiheke Island Resort, and it exceeded all expectations.nnWe arrived over 40 minutes early, fully expecting to be asked to wait until our reservation time. Instead, the lovely lady who greeted us welcomed us with the warmest smile and happily guided us straight to our table. She was absolutely amazing and kept that genuine, friendly smile on her face throughout the entire evening — it really set the tone for a fantastic experience.nnThe food was simply outstanding, every dish beautifully presented and full of flavour. The location is priceless, with stunning views that make the whole evening feel extra special. Combined with service that was truly unmatched, it made for a memorable night from start to finish.nnHighly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!
Waiheke island resort could not have been better! We had majority of the rooms rented out for our wedding and the team was so incredible and supportive along the entire way. A special thanks to Carla who was so incredible at helping us organise everything from accommodation to our Sunday funday and much more. And a huge thanks to the staff on the weekend, who were amazing for all of our guests and us as well - thank you Bridget, Connie and Ellie and many more.nHighly recommend Waiheke island resort for any wedding accommodation - they will make your life so easy!
Beautiful place with great views. We didn't have a car here but easily got around the island with the public bus system. Our room was spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub were packed with kids so we didn't get to enjoy those but that was fine. The people working there were friendly and helpful.
We had a really good time at Island resort. Bridget was an absolute star to help us make this stay special and comfortable. Valeria at reception was so helpful and friendly. Joaquin at the pool side bar was so nice. The location was walking distance to the palm beach, the beautiful sea view from our room. Thank you so much all, highly recommended!
