Amazing facility- well run, friendly staff, clean tidy AND a cool tog drier - love it!
Wow, this is a great pool. The water quality is very good, clear water. Good lane space for swimming laps. Really nice facility. Warmer separate pools for the young kids and group exercise class. Very impressed with the facility.
If you're looking for somewhere to take the kids to burn off some energy and have a bit of fun, this is NOT the place. One lifeguard in particular was constantly pulling up kids and adults alike for things she thought they shouldn't be doing, she was watching like a hawke waiting to find something she could tell them off for. Took all the fun out of the experience. Worth driving 30 mins to the New Plymouth pool instead.
It is a very decent set-up, only thing is they might need signs for the speed of the lane
If you ever rhink about going to this place.. should think again. The owner of the place bullys teenagers and reckon holding hands is PDA. called the cops on us. After harassing me and my 4 friends 4 times in a row. He wouldnt leave us alone after the first time of telling me and my partner holding hands and a hug was inappropriate even tho we 18 we stayed away from eachother after the first time NEEDS NEW OWNER AND STAFF. OR ATLEAST MATURE WORKER
