A family owned Visitor accommodation in Onetangi on Waiheke Island NZ. Opening summer 2016/17. Perfect for couples, close to the beach and vineyards.

Story

Want to get away from the busy city life? Waiheke Island is just 40minutes by ferry from downtown Auckland!

We live in Onetangi down a little dirt road nestled in a beautiful valley with two of Waiheke's best vineyards. Just over the hill and a short walk to the beach and the bus connecting you with the rest of the island. We are opening our special little slice of paradise with 3 private cabins and two twin rooms in the main building. Sleeping a total of just 10 people! so get in quick :)

Come and relax at the beach and visit the many vineyards around Onetangi!

Looking for a place to host a yoga retreat or a conference with a relaxing atmosphere? We will have a special work space which is perfect for all your needs in a separate building!

Highly recommend! We booked out the whole venue as was a group staying, the caravans were cool February and clean as were the cabins , had everything that you could need, a great place to be able to relax and unwind. The host was lovely, making our stay easy. I would recommend having a car as makes it easier to get round from the location. Would definitely stay again

Absolutely gorgeous buildings, beautifully and thoughtfully styled, with amazing garden. Lots of thoughtful touches. Building layout was more like a hostel accommodation than glamping, with our ‘private room’ being in the same unit as the bathroom shared by all guests. This is not what I was expecting when I booked based on photos, had I been aware of this layout I would have preferred booking one of the caravans. In saying this Friday night was very enjoyable & peaceful. Unfortunately our experience was really let down on Saturday night by other guests who partied until the wee hours, even after asking them to turn off their music at midnight. Due to the layout of our ‘private room’ the party goers were in and out of the toilet & bathrooms turning on lights & slamming doors until 2am.
Booked 2 caravans here for a Saturday night. Really nice idea, the caravans were really comfortable. They're not self contained, the showers and toilets are in a separate block. There is also accommodation in the same block as the shared bathrooms, personally I wouldn't be a fan of someone else going to the bathroom outside my front door. Fantastic garden full of native birds, really nice garden to grab a bottle of wine and relax in.
This is one of my favourite magical places in New Zealand. Super clean and comfy, I recommend this place to anyone. I felt at home and definitely going back! Thanks a lot Sally
LOVED it here. Lovely friendly owners, clean, comfortable and super-cool caravans, and a great common room, kitchen, deck, and showers/washrooms with everything you could ask for and more. So many thoughtful touches to enhance your stay. The trees, ferns, flowers and birds add to the relaxing and unique experience. Would love to return!
A beautiful location in Onetangi, where you can stay in a powered caravan. There are also two main buildings with kitchens and bathrooms. These are maintained to a high standard. It's a peaceful site with a 10 minute walk downhill to the beach. Be prepared for a more strenuous walk back up again! Overall a unique place to stay
