Stopped in for the first time and wow!nLots of seating both inside and out front.nHUGE selection of cakes, pastries, hot foods, sandwiches, menu meals, drinks. Seriously wow!nReally good prices for everything also and friendly service.nOur new favourite when we pass through!!
Lovely staff. Great atmosphere. The food is great. The coffee needs to be more consistent tho but not a big deal. The drink prices, I think, might be overpriced...? The food, pastries, and cakes are extremely well priced. They don't cheap out on the taste because they're good especially for the price. I reckon a good clean or a re-arranging of the place would make it feel like a 5-star restaurant.
I stumbled upon this bakery craving their custard donuts, and I was pleasantly surprised! They not only excel in sweets but also offer a delightful variety including chips, burgers, and an array of Tip Top ice creams. Parking was a breeze with ample free street spots right in front of the store. A must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth or looking for a quick bite!
It's been a while since the last time I was here, and the pies used to be great.nBut sadly, not today. The pastry was rock hard and falling off. ok, there is still the filling to go it was too hot, and the flavor was quite bland. Will not be my first option for a pie in the future. Everything else looked great.
This bakery has a large selection of pie flavours, including a vegetarian pie as at today when I visited. I was impressed. They also had some good looking whole and decorated cakes if you need one for a special occasion. Full disclosure, I have only tried the smoked fish pie and hot chips. The hot chips were really nice. I need to go and try the vege pie and also the fish pie again though because the fish pie I had today wasn't the greatest. I couldn't really taste any fish, and the cheese has a strange taste to it, but that might just be my taste buds. The pastry and pie size were all goods. It was luke warm though, which was sad given it was only 8.30am ish. My friend got a steak and cheese pie - she said she wouldn't want to get it again. Anyway, that's my review, it's only based on one visit with a purchase of three items, so take it with a grain of salt ;
