This was the highlight of my NZ holiday.nThe most beautiful warm welcoming from staff, exceptional value. The BEST hot chocolate I have ever had must try the lavender hot chocolate and the ice creams were nothing short of phenomenal.nnThe animals were soo beautiful and funny especially the alpacas, the tall white one has a LOT to say and I will think of him every day until I return to chat again.nnThe lavender farms are incredible even in winter when not in bloom so I can’t wait to return in summer and see them in their full glory.nnThe shop is filled with beautiful handmade organic lavender products, the muscle and ache cream, silk hand lotion and lavender sleep balm are incredible and I will be purchasing these online when I finish them.nnThankyou so much for an incredible memory Wanaka lavedner farm.
We had a great few hours here. The scenery is beautiful, the grounds smell wonderful as well. The live stock is fun to interact with. Great spots of pictures all over. They even have yummy ice cream here. And play features for little kids. Great family fun to be had. Definitely worth a stop by if you’re close.
Must visit! I was with my husband and 2 young kids during autumn. It was low season and entry tickets were cheap, $7 adult $3.50 children. I imagine it would be extremely beautiful during summer/spring when the lavenders are in full bloom. We spent about 2hours there. Many beautiful spots for pictures.nnFarm animals there too and my kids had so much fun feeding the alpacas.nnI also bought a bottle of gardener hand cream from them. The scent is heavenly if you like lavender. Doesn't absorb quickly but once it does, the moisturising power stays!nnHighly recommended spot.
What a dreamy place. Feels like straight out of a romantic movie. Despite us visiting in the Fall, the farm did not disappoint. The aroma of lavender was amazing. For small children, they have live animals to feed that my 20 year old child very much enjoyed despite not being a child anymore. If you are nearby, I would absolutely visit.
Such a peaceful and charming spot! The lavender fields were beautiful, and the whole place smelled amazing. The shop was packed with so many cute lavender goodies — I had such a hard time choosing what to get! There’s also a honey tasting corner where you can try different types — I got the lavender honey and loved it so much I came back the next day for more. The café has ice cream, scones, blondies, and more — the lavender honey ice cream was so good, and the scones were super tasty too. Oh, and the tea that changes colour from blue to purple when you add lemon? So fun. Just a really relaxing and wholesome place to visit in Wanaka.
