A stunning location and we had a lovely room on the ground level so you walked out onto grassy parkland that runs to the lake edge. The facilities of this one bedroom apartment are tremendous. Our only mistake? Staying just one night. Wanaka is gorgeous and the jet boat tour may seem expensive but it's totally worth it The ducks are OK being hand fed
Beautiful picturesque lake to absorb the views of the mountains as a backdrop to the torquise blue water.
A must visit place in Wanaka! Came here in the morning, noon and evening, views are all great. Morning, can see fog on the lake. Noon, can see ducks and birds around the lake. Evening, u can feed the long fin eel at the lakefront
one of my favourite beaches ever! spent hours just admiring nature around me. a week after my visit the leaves started turning for autumn... must have been incredible!
Beautiful and peaceful walk, seeing all the reflection and dogs running, jumping into the lake. Lots of stops along the lake, chairs and picnic tables or you can just simply lay down on the sand and enjoy the sunlight. However it is quite windy in the afternoon so recommend to bring your wind proofing jacket with you. Plenty of car parking areas are available.
