one of my favourite beaches ever! spent hours just admiring nature around me. a week after my visit the leaves started turning for autumn... must have been incredible!
Beautiful and peaceful walk, seeing all the reflection and dogs running, jumping into the lake. Lots of stops along the lake, chairs and picnic tables or you can just simply lay down on the sand and enjoy the sunlight. However it is quite windy in the afternoon so recommend to bring your wind proofing jacket with you. Plenty of car parking areas are available.
Highly recommend a visit to Wanaka. Plenty of adventure activities and leisure activities. Walking, cycling, boat trips, great views, fantastic location. We went in Autumn and the colors were amazing
We spent several days exploring the lake front and playing in the water. Plenty of parking. We even did a Happy hour boat trip just long enough but not too long to keep the attention of a 4 year old.
The good photo spot if you like to show off but this is not where the famous wanaka Tree located. You can play with ducks here and enjoy the serene surrounding, seeing Wanaka lake with clear blue water
