Had a lovely time doing my restricted license here. My testing officer Peresitene T was so nice, made me feel confident and relaxed throughout my test. He gave clear instructions + directions and spoke to me with such kindness and patience, which made me calm down and focused on driving. Thank you!
I gave my restricted driving test with Mary Ann-M today.She's the most loveliest personality to come accross. Gives you so much confidence and makes you feel so comfortable,her instructions are so easy to follow .She's no doubt the best instructor at Massey, westgate VTNZ.
I’ve been here 3 times to pass my restricted test. Each time the instructors fail you in 10 minutes and now you can’t even book another test for the next 11 months.nnI’ve even been turned away earlier this year because a worker didn’t show up to work on the day of my test and told to come back the next week when I’ve already taken time off work for this. Take another day off the next week and instructor Nick E fails me in 10 minutes.nnAll these times I’ve failed have been for the most ridiculous reasons and I have always been doing head checks when I’m driving and they still fail you saying you didn’t.nnThe instructor that took me this morningnLauren J took me on my first test 2 years ago on the 17th of June 2022 as well. Since then the rules must have changed because the first time I went with her, she failed me for turning into the right hand lane after instructing me to turn left behind the warehouse. Today I’ve been instructed to turn into that same right hand lane that she failed me for turning into without clear instruction of what lane to turn into.nnIt seems these instructors make up their own rules everytime they take someone for a license test. Apparently it is very critical that you check your relevant mirrors before braking.nnI’ve tried to raise this with higher up people at VTNZ online through their help centre and all they can do is dance around what you tell them and send you videos of how to drive properly.nnAdvise = don’t go to Vtnz westgate for a driving test.
Just wanted to leave this comment here. I had the best experience doing my driving test overseas conversion. Nick was amazing! super friendly, kind, and respectful and explained to me all the details I needed to feel confident doing my drive. Thank you Nick!!
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the waiting area is comfy with coffee and hot chocolate available. They were very efficient sorting out our WOF.
