Recently went to VTNZ Upper Hutt for a driving test and was incredibly anxious! But the staff at the counter were welcoming and made me smile, the customer waiting area was clean and tidy, and the testing officer was wonderful too! Kelly was her name, super calm and supportive, gave clear instructions and made me feel much more at ease.
I find the receptionists angry and combative, every time I’ve been in. They seem inconvenienced by customers which is a rather unfortunate business model. Get a wof from a mechanic. So much easier than dealing with agro receptionists.

Had my driving test lined up at upper Hutt .. Keith was my instructor …through out my test he was too calm which helped me to ace the test and stay calm .. overall a very good experience
Only point out the critical parts requires replacement to pass WOF, which mean the list is subjective. It prevent someone else over charge.
