I just took my restricted driving test at 10:30 this morning with Vili, the test officer.nI was nervous before the exam and I was worried about whether my English could keep up with the examiner, but the way he handled the exam made me feel confident, relaxed and focused on the exam.nHe was really professional and gave me very clear instructions.nI passed the exam on my first try. Thanks and Merry Christmas!
Had a great experience here, especially with my driving instructor Vili! Had him the first time I came as well and I failed - but he was super kind and explained my errors and what to work on. I came back after working on it and passed! He was just a great person and made me feel so much more at ease as I was nervous and made it easy to just concentrate on my driving. Thank you!!
Today, I visited the Sylvia Park VTNZ in Mt. Wellington for a full license driving test, and my experience with the testing officer, Paul or Shao B., was quite unprofessional.nnFirst, his instructions were unclear, and I had to repeat his directions to ensure I understood correctly. When I asked, “Paul, this left, right?” just to confirm, he responded rudely, saying, “Don’t ask me, I’m not your driving instructor.” There’s a difference between asking a question and confirming unclear instructions, especially when he wasn’t speaking clearly his tongue is twisted and eating his words i had to repeat what he was saying.nnSecond, during feedback, he mentioned that my car wasn’t comfortable. Frankly, his comfort shouldn’t be a concern – his focus should have been on my driving, not my car’s comfort and he left just like that.nnLastly, after the test, he handed me a paper without congratulating me or offering any clear indication of whether I passed. I sat in the car for a moment, confused and uncertain. I had to go to the reception to confirm that I had indeed passed. When I asked the receptionist the one siting in the mid section of the reception table for full license where I could submit feedback or a complaint regarding the testing officer, she appeared unsure and simply said, “I don’t know, maybe email.” This lack of knowledge and guidance added to my overall dissatisfaction with the poor level of customer service.nnso for those people who said this instructor paul is nice you might have the same tongue.
I just took the full license test this morning 7:30am with the testing officer VILI. He is very professional, give clear instruction. I was quite nervous before the test, but the way he handles the test make me feel confident and I totally focus on the test. I am sure everyone will appreciate his service. He also gave me feedback on what skills I need to improve. I have passed the test at my 1st attemp. Good luck to everyone who are preparing for the driving test. Cheers, T
I went in for my driving test, the lady at the counter checked my drivers license and asked me to wait in the waiting area. While I was waiting, another employee checked if I was at the right location, which I think was a good idea as people could get confused with locations.nMy test officer Vili was very pleasant and nice, he didn't talk to me during my test due to which I was fully focused on my driving. Before I started my test, he asked me how I was doing and reassured me I will be fine and not to be nervous.
