Had a great experience at VTNZ Rangiora today! I was feeling really anxious before my full driving test, but my testing officer Troy was incredibly kind and patient throughout the whole process. His calm and reassuring approach made a huge difference, and I really appreciated his professionalism! I’m also glad to see the wait times for driving tests are much shorter in the new year. I’d highly recommend Troy to any young driver going through the process. Thanks again!
I had my Full license test today at Rangiora VTNZ and it was absolutely amazing ! Juliet H was my tester and she was very welcoming and friendly which made me feel very comfortable during the test. And managed to pass my Full.nJuliet H if you see this you are a absolutely amazing. Really recommend this place when coming for your full license.
The lady at the reception was lovely and friendly. However, your lack of helpful communication was disappointing. Firstly, you should have let us know that there was only one person doing the wofs. We sat and waited for close to half an hour before I overheard you say to someone else that there was only one person doing them. Another bog basic customer service skill is to acknowledge a customer and if you have to finish something before serving them let them know... ' Hi there I'll be right with you' would have been helpful. Don't just leave us standing there waiting. We have had to come back in again today to get the wof done and again the service is slow. People don't have all day to wait for their cars. You need to be quicker and work more efficiently. Will go somewhere else next time.
I had scheduled my driving test for 05/02/2025 2:15 pm, but the instructor, Juliet, didn’t arrive until 2:22 pm and seemed rushed from the moment she arrived. Throughout the test, I made no mistakes, and I didn’t break any rules. However, at the end, Juliet claimed I took a gap when merging into traffic, something she said she wouldn’t have done herself. As a result, she decided to fail me, which felt both unnecessary and unfair. My husband was present throughout the entire test, and neither of us could get her to listen or explain her reasoning. To make matters worse, she didn’t offer any feedback or clarification at the end; she simply handed me my license, said “see you next time,” and left without offering any explanation.nnThis entire experience felt unprofessional, and the fail was completely unjustified. We simply can’t afford to pay for a retest, especially when the failure was based on something so subjective and unfair. This situation has left us both frustrated and deeply disappointed. We have lodge a complaint with vtnz but I have no hopes it’s completely unjustified I would never suggest this center
I have been going here for the last 4/5 years for WOF for my Motorbike. After waiting in line for 20mins to be told they dont do Motorbikes anymore. Yet they still have it advertized as they do.
