nnFirst time I didn’t pass, but that was on me — not the officer. VTNZ is right. Inside the office they have a clear message posted on the wall: testing officers don’t fail you, your mistakes do.nnToday I passed my full driving licence test with Lisa as my testing officer. She was calm, professional, and fair. I drove the same way I do alone on the road — safely, responsibly, and by the rules. The quote “Everyone has the right to reach home or their destination safely” has always motivated me to drive safely. This made me a good driver.nnAfter 30 minutes she said, “Congratulations Gaurav, you passed. You are a good driver.” It was an great moment.nnBoth officers I’ve had here were great. They genuinely want us to pass if we drive well safely and take care of others on the road by following rules.nnThank you Lisa and VTNZ — no words are enough. You made my day!!
Haven’t used the local VTNZ for a while as service in past seemed a bit hit and miss. Went in Saturday morning for a WOF and reception team were great. It was a busy morning but across the team they were calm, responsive and confident. Inspector I spoke to was great. Will use again.

Had a great experience sitting my restricted driving test with Stewart yesterday. He was very professional, neutral, and gave clear instructions throughout the test. The reception team at the main office were also very lovely congratulating me on passing the practical test. Thank you VTNZ Pukekohe!
My restricted drivers test was on 10th of March at 10:15am. I had such a pleasant driving test with Angela. She put me at ease and I did not feel nervous driving with her. I had heard such horror stories about driving tests, and was very nervous on the day, but Angela was calm and direct and professional. I was able to focus on the driving and not feel bullied or intimidated. Thanks so much for having someone like Angela employed by vtnz, she is a credit to your company.
