Was a terrible experience, I went there for a recheck at 3.40pm as my car had been in an accident and waited 40 minutes to get to the front of the queue, then was told I had to pay full price again as it was over 28 days since the initial check. I had been away but reluctantly paid. Then waited another 20 min, as they were so short staffed.nThe worst part was the rude manager who came out and abused me for taking pictures of my own car just sitting there no one working on it for ages and saying how lucky I was they were doing WOF given the que and that I arrived so late. 3.40pm - they close 5pmnnDO NOT GO THERE
I had a great experience at VTNZ New Lynn.nnBoth times, I had Jay as my instructor for my restricted and full license tests, and I passed on the first try. He was professional, accommodating, and friendly.nnHis feedback was constructive, and he pointed out my mistakes calmly at the end instead of being harsh. I really appreciated his approach!
I went for my restricted driving test this morning with testing officer Emmanuel, and I passed the test. He was very pleasant on meeting and very clear with instructions, when returned to vtnz newlynn, Emmanuel discussed with me how I could continue to improve driving skills prior to sitting my full license. He was very professional and I found that I enjoyed the experience.
I'm extremely dissatisfied with the UNPROFESSIONAL and UNFRIENDLY service I had received. After completing my eye test, the white guy with glasses at the customer service incorrectly informed me that I had failed my eye test , despite my knowledge that my eyesight is fine.nnHe then rudely told me to go elsewhere and not to return, and that no one here will serve me if I come back.nThe queue was also ridiculous ,only one person at the teller , and a customer behind me was getting frustrated .Felt like I was getting rushed because of the queue .nnI subsequently went to AA in New Lynn, where I passed both eye test and obtained my license
I want to express my gratitude to the VTNZ New Lynn team for a great experience during my full driver’s test which was on 11.11.2024. A big thank you to the staff member at the front desk who was welcoming and helpful, making the process easy from the start. Special thanks to my instructor, who I believe was Eu G, for being professional and putting me at ease throughout the test. I felt comfortable and well-supported, which made a big difference. Overall, a positive experience, and I appreciate the team’s dedication!
