Read all the comments and feedback, and this before making up your mind about using this VTNZ for Driving Tests.nnOur son has gone through 3 driving tests and failed at this VNTZ/AA. After the first fail, and the second, he paid for extra driving lessons through AA Nelson… this driving instructor could not fault him and even spoke to us, saying he was a great driver.nnThe first driving instructor for the actual test was good… he explained things to Harlen, was talkative and respectful. This driving instructor even stated that Harlen was a good driver. The next 2 driving tests was taken by a man called Roy. Roy was ill-mannered, grumpy and had an attitude of a stone… made comments to our son even prior to getting in his car that made our son feel deflated.nnThis is not so much about our son failing the test, 3 times!! Yet more about the fairness and intimidation tactics that Roy used, prior and during the actual test. Our son was set up and will be set up to fail every time by Roy. Roy’s boss we found was immature and mocked us, when we tried to speak to them about where our son went wrong, as he was not sure.nnOur son has his restricted license now… yet it was not at this VTNZ/AA that he got it. Such a difference from Nelson and out of town... where the instructors were friendly.
Awful experience. You guys ordered a car part of me from Facebook. You paid for it Saturday and kept calling and messaging asking where the part is. You are so paranoid that you could not wait until Monday till it was shipped and you decided to call the bank and get my account locked. How pathetic and low you are.nnDO NOT TRADE WITH THESE LOSERS
During the busy time of the year, these guys go all out. Due to many mechanics, wof service places being shut during Christmas period they were flat out from open to closed with cars out parked on the road. They plodded away one after the other and kept them moving. Staff on the desk with a smile and a good conversation with each customer made it worth the wait. Thanks for servicing my car and getting me on the way so one could enjoy the holidays. Excellent
Please stop lying that you do not buy parts. Your number literally pops up as vtnz Nelson otherwise we would not know it was you guys. You guys should be ashamed of yourself.
Took my car for a WOF here and was failed for brake imbalance on their rollers on multiple occasions, despite taking it back to another mechanics and having it tested within acceptable limits on 3 consecutive attempts. Unsure whether the inconsistency was in their brake rollers or the other place I went. Regardless, I had to go to an entirely different place for my WOF, wasting the 80 odd dollars spent at VTNZ. Won’t be returning in future because of this.
