I recently took my driving road test at VTNZ Northwood, and I had a fantastic experience. The staff were professional, efficient, and welcoming from the moment I walked in.nnThe receptionist was friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and stress-free.nnInspector Ravi conducted my test, and I really appreciate his calm and professional approach. He gave clear instructions and helped make the test a comfortable experience.nnThanks to the team at VTNZ Northwood for their excellent service! I highly recommend them to anyone preparing for a driving test.
I took a test recently at Northwood and Testing inspector Ravi who is very professional and creates a comfortable testing environment from the start. His clear driving instructions are given with plenty of notice, making navigation straightforward during the test. This was a welcome change from my previous examination in other centre where another inspector gave turn directions with almost very short notice, making it judge properly is challenging. Ravi's approach allows candidates to truly demonstrate their driving skills rather than testing reaction time to sudden commands.
Yesterday I visited VTNZ Christchurch - Northwood for my road test, and overall, my experience was quite positive. The parking area was spacious, making it easy to find a spot. Upon arrival, the staff promptly greeted me and explained the procedure before the road test, which was really helpful. This helped me and others avoid waiting in long queues, ensuring everything ran smoothly.nnHowever, while the information provided was clear, I did notice that the staff member who assisted me didn’t seem particularly friendly or pleasant. She wasn’t just brief with me, but with everyone around, which slightly impacted the overall experience.nnOverall, the process was efficient, and the staff helped guide me through it, but a bit more warmth and friendliness would certainly improve the customer experience.nnI had the pleasure of being assessed by Mr. Ronald during my first-ever New Zealand road driving test on 11th November 2014, and I couldn’t be more grateful for his approach. From the very beginning, he greeted me warmly and explained the entire process in simple, clear terms, which immediately put me at ease. His calm demeanor and thorough explanation helped me feel comfortable and confident throughout the test.nnThanks to his clear guidance, I was able to complete the test successfully. At the end, Mr. Ronald took the time to congratulate me on achieving my license and offered valuable feedback on areas where I could improve. His constructive suggestions were helpful and encouraging, and I genuinely appreciate his professional yet supportive attitude.
I’ve had 2 restricted driving tests now, and both of which had me leaving wanting to rip my hair out because reasons for failing me were such a stretch.nnfirst i had Rahera C. at the start she seemed nice but once she got into my car i felt judged the whole time and it made me so uncomfortable in my own vehicle, if they’re getting in the car that’s under my name that i pay for, they should atleast have some respect for the person driving it, but she was barely checking anything, but apparently as soon as i don’t turn my head one singular time its the end of the world, she was reaching and i think she was just miserable to be fair.nnand today i had Ravi K. words can not express the rage i felt leaving my test today. not only did he fail me for the stupidest reason, i couldn't understand him in the slightest, he wasn’t patient whatsoever, and i genuinely think he saw my school uniform and had a vendetta against me having my restricted. not only did he check my tyres for literally no reason because the mechanic said it was fine, he failed me on the stupidest reason in existence. when he was explaining what i did wrong, he was getting frustrated because i didn’t understand, sorry that’s not my problem nnanyway, the lady at the front desk is lovely and probably the only competent person i met here apart from the mechanic that said my tyres were completely safe. get a new job guys, because clearly this one ain’t working for you.
Loved the way they make you feel comfortable before the test. I was anxious just like everyone before the test then the way the testing officer comfort me and ask me to take a deep breath before starting the test. Trust me ! that helps a lot Thanks to Arnold for my restricted and Ravi for my full license. You both are great. I’ll keep in mind, the instructions you both gave me.
