Vivid Life Photography

I have to say the experience was exceptional. We hate our photos taken but they put us at ease so we had fun during the session & the final picture we ordered looked great.

We like a number of others, won a photo shoot via an entry at a House and Garden show. The shoot itself was reasonably fun in terms of what we were required to do squashing together, some Usain Bolt dabs etc, although the photographer did not appear particularly enthusiastic and interactive - felt like he'd done it too many times. Nevertheless, we were very happy with the photos presented back to us. Unfortunately, after this, things became slightly less agreeable. We were left a phone message that day asking for a decision to be made by the following morning on how we wanted to proceed. We decided to go ahead and I left a voice message to this effect detailing what we wanted re. our framed pictures black and whites and paid the money. I then heard nothing from them, which seemed somewhat negligent and cutthroat after the short timeframe they had insisted on for the decision ie. no confirmation email/text, acknowledgement/timeframe and so some weeks down the track I finally made contact just to confirm when the photos would be ready. It took 2- 3 months for them to be ready, and then it turned out they had done our framed photos in colour. Unfortunately, we didn't have anything in writing and then began another 6 weeks of trying to contact them - messages left, phones not answered. In the end, it all became too much effort and after finally talking to someone, and not really being given an option to redo, we gave the photos to our parents, rather than adding to our black and white wall. Look, we liked the photos taken, but the aftermath left a sour taste. They were very hard to contact, their customer focus seemed lacking and in the end, you had to conclude it was just about the money. Felt disappointed.

Never ever use these "photographers" all they want is your money and they don't even care about service. The quality of the photos is poor and I could do better with my phone, just because they have a studio doesn't make them good photographers. Worst experience ever. Do not use! There are plenty of other great photographers in Wellington my advice is to find someone else.

I had won a free photoshoot for me and my family scheduled at 11:15 today. Turned up and no one answered the door, my calls, facebook messages or emails. They've wasted my time and my family's time. I do not recommend at all!

When we went we had called before our appointment to ask a question but went to answer phone and we never got a reply therefore turning up with unanswered questions so we weren't as organised as we could have been. Had the shoot, there was a student photographer who was absolutely lovely but Im afraid that was the only good thing. It's about 4 months down the tracks and still waiting to see our photos don't think we'll ever get to see them. Waste of time.

WARNING!!! DO NOT USE VIVID PHOTOGRAPHY!!! I would never use this service again! We were waiting months and months before we recieved what we paid for. Only after numerous phone calls and and painstaking communications the quality of the photos is terrible! Cannot believe the amount we paid for some photos. My children's faces were even edited to be unrecognizable. These people are here for one thing only $$$. The service and communication was terrible, the photoshoot was painful and getting the final product, well, if you love a painful process you've sure got one here. What a rip off. I will never be using them again and I warn anyone else who's thinking about it not to. Even if you win a prize to get a photoshoot what they dont tell you is how much it will cost to actually get the photographs!

Pleasure to deal with, great communication, made us feel at ease. Very happy with the end product. Highly recommend.

Shop around people, these cowboys are the worst people to deal with. Photos are so overpriced and never on time and wheres the communication, these cowboys wont answer their phones or answer messages left.

Professional international standards relaxed and happy atmosphere presentation first class. Loved the session with wonderful results
