Viscount School has been a nightmare to deal with in the past 1 year. From day events that have ended with the senior school arriving late back to school at 4:10pm and 5:30pm with supposed contact made to only a certain few parents and families on a Friday evening coming from Parakai Pools and then the Board of Trustees Chairwoman brushing off serious complaints made by parents. It goes to show that staff don't really care about the children's safety and well-being because the school treat your children as a statistic than anything else. I wouldn't be surprised if it's all done purely for funding. Viscount School also has a reputation for having ill-behaved children with fights and bullying being a regular occurrence to the point where it pours out onto the streets and into the Manukau Rovers Carpark. Viscount School also had children who have a tendency of stealing during day trip events and the previous principal brushed it off as if it were not a serious matter. If you go to support your children in events etc at school such as diversity day, be prepared to watch your children perform in the pouring rain or watch under broken gazebos while teachers anxiously try to rectify the situation with little to no support. If chaos and havoc is what you want for your child. Viscount School is the place you will find it. Guaranteed.
This is a very clear indication of how lack of sufficient support and good advice from teachers and principals on their own students that can affect a student's ability to do well in their future study. Especially what was happened here at this Viscount school if this claim is genuine. In term of sports, they MAYBE doing fine but they need schooling to back them up if sport fails. Academic should be the highest priority to be enforced on every school as you cannot guarantee a student's future in any sport!
The dux for Viscount School at Mangere in South Auckland NZ for the year 2013 was a 14 year old school repeater! I am not sure how many times this student repeat on Year 8 but just wondering if there is any other year 8 intermediate schools in New Zealand or Australia or even in the Pacific have experienced the same result. Normally a year 8 student will be between 12 and 13 years old. A 14 year old can't participate on the majority of the sports due to the age. I can't believe it as he wasn't the best in Class!
I think this is highly unfair for all primary school students. I think there should be a review of school policy with regards to the minimum age for students, especially at this school. After all, we are setting the stage for our children to be role models in the future. After all, it is our duty to do the right thing.nnSo lets get it right principal!
It's look nice for my daughters
