We want to show your customer where their product came from and want to show school children the diverse range of careers within the primary industries...
We are a husband and wife team looking to turn the way we tell the story of our primary industries on it's head!
How?
Now this is where we will be changing things up a bit.
We know how fast the world moves and how technology changes. Last year, Facebook added 360° photo functionality to its repertoire, then in July, they flicked the switch on 360° video watching and posting capability, as did Youtube.
Since then National Geographic starting releasing outstanding, immersive 360° footage. Then companies like Mountain Dew starting experimenting with it for marketing. The result? Higher click rates, longer watch times and bigger follow through to websites.
Now picture this, what if you could show your consumer the farm their wool came from, show them the sheep being mustered by the shepherds from the view of drone. Then, take them into the shearing shed in 360° video and watch the process, hear all the sounds, bleating, clippers, whistles?
What if you could show school kids that there is more to farming than milking cows or pruning vines? Why don't we fully immerse them in the industry from milking and shepherding to farm management, to soil, environmental or food science, to transport and trade negotiations, marketing, translation, research, building, engineering and more!
HOW? By donning a virtual reality headset and being fully immersed in this real, exciting and diverse industry. By scanning a QR code on a product in China (or Queen Street in Auckland!) and being transported to a vineyard in the Hawkes Bay, a sheep station in Wanaka or a cropping farm in Canterbury.
Addressing the rural urban divide and providing the latest technology to assist with optimum traceability.
