Wouldn’t recommend this VINZ unless you are happy to wait a very long time. Had a COF done and had a 3.5hr wait with only 2 trucks in front of us. Had the wait time been communicated to us we would have tried to get it done elsewhere. As many other places offer appointments for this service.
I had a very disappointing experience with this business today.nI was quoted $139.17, but when I went to pay, they processed my payment in a way that charged me $141.95 due to an unexpected 2% fee. This is completly misleading because the extra charge wasn’t clearly communicated upfront or changed when exposed.nnIt’s frustrating to think that money isn’t really money when you have to pay extra fees like this. If they had been transparent about the costs and honored the quoted price, I would have happily not given them a review at all.nnI hope they reconsider their pricing practices for the sake of what is best for their business. Otherwise, people will truthfully start showing up again with cash like this to pay instead:nn- 6 × $20n- 1 × $10n- 4 × $2n- 1 × $1n- 1 × 20cnnI hope they improve their customer experience in the future, as I do have the right to report to the Commerce Commission for this. Under the Fair Trading Act 1986, I am entitled to accurate information about prices and charges.
Read reviews prior to heading in so I was aware I'd need to turn up early to avoid the ques and not be a grumpy old fart complaining about the wait times.nnI was also aware the wof was more expensive than other places which is fine, they're not forcing you to go to them.nnThe Wof inspector found some bits which needed attention, no bullshit made up crap to get my old car off the road and or keep their mates employed, actual issues which I was glad you fix as they made my car safer and prolonged it's useful life.nnLovely staff, they clearly take plenty of shit from grumpy customers and are suffering from it so please be aware they are busy, they're not cheap and the wait times are long, none of that is their fault and you're welcome to take your car anywhere you please.
Not bad pretty good bunch in there too I did bump into a couple of the Indian technicians seemed very nice and helpful I was surprised
