The one time we took the ferry to Rawene to Kohukohu, a Wednesday, this Art Gallery was closed even though it was after 10am. Looks like nice art inside. Maybe call the gallery first to see if they are open..

Always a beautiful selection of art from local artist's and some artist's from further afield including a few international artists, this is a gallery that can hold it's own beside some of the biggest in New Zealand, except it's located in a little slice of paradise instead of a bustling city..
Village Arts does an incredible job of having regular exhibitions, for a small community in the Hokianga, it's a must to stop here. I go whenever I can and wish I could go more often. Simply a stunning gallery in a beautiful small town.
