We Popped into Villa Ridge for lunch today and after a friendly welcome, we chose from the food cabinet and had the most delicious home cooked food. The pastries were excellent and the coffee was the best in town! The service was fast and efficient, We will be back soon,
One of the best garden centres I have been to! Lovely mature trees at decent prices, huge fruit trees. Big indoor plant area with great gifts. The whole place is well presented and arranged. The cafe onsite is awesome too!
Great experience today at Villa Ridge Garden Centre. Steve was super-helpful, and spent a lot of time with us. He listened to what we were trying to achieve, showed us lots of options and alternatives, with loads of helpful advice. Plants were good quality and a good price. All-round great experience. Highly recommend.
Lovely neatly set out garden centre. We were wanting a Fejoa fruit tree. There were none available of the name we wanted.We were told they should be here very soon. Next morning we were phoned to be told they have arrived....and would we like to come and have a look. It is now planted in our Garden! Great customer service. Oh yes the carrot cake at the Cafe was a dream too!
Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the great garden ornaments & plants. As a bonus, stop in for a delicious coffee & cake too?.
Have had coffee from there during the week before and it was amazing. Went on Sunday and had the Big Breakfast and a hot drink. Wasn't overly impressed with either. The drink was bitter. The poached eggs were almost hard. Not enough butter for the 3 triangles of toast. Wouldn't say I wouldn't go back because it's a nice place. The staff were friendly. Just hope it was a one off.
We went here because it showed up as a pro choice business. Often this can be lip service. Our experience today was the most hostile I have experienced to date, anywhere, for any reason. The hostility when we sat in the ‘wrong’ area, after poor instruction, was an example of the poorest kind of customer service. Have a ‘bad’ day however when you take that to your customers don’t expect us to return, or be silent.
Lovely ambiance.But the mini carrot cakes need a recipe upgrade.Dry and the flavour wasn't quite right.The texture was on the heavy side.The topping packed a little something too? How ever the beetroot and feta tart was delicious .The accompanying side salad and relish were a nice balance .The service was excellent.
Lovely atmosphere and the chocolate brownie with raspberries and cream cheese I had in the cafe was absolutely sublime. The garden centre staff were also extremely helpful, if I didn't normally live 12,000 miles away, I would 100% be back!
Bit tired, small no one around to help and layout a bit haphazard. Perhaps not a high turnover of plants as they did not look new.
