Whilst renovations are being carried out it is somewhat messy, although the trees are still beautiful. Looking forward to seeing it finished so star rating can go back up.
It's nice but too noisy because surrounded by all of these highways and streets. Queensland government recently announced that they are going to build a NYC Central Park style recreation area in here incorporating the closeby golf course land. Super exciting project! Well done, BNE Council!
Great park with plenty of public facilities. The most useful part of the park is the exercise stands that are littered throughout. Great for any locals to stop by and go for a stretch or a bit of exercise. Generally very quiet, despite being in such a busy part of town

It's pretty big park , good bike track and many people use for personal fitness I reckon it great park
Massive amount of hitting bays over 2 levels. Plenty of targets and distances. Hopefully serve alcohol again soon
Large, open, inner city park used by commuters, joggers and cyclist. Lower edge includes Normanby bikeway linking with land bridge over the ICB to Gilchrist Avenue.
Put the equipment in the same spot, nearly pointless otherwise
