A regular stop for us when we pass through Kihikihi. Love the pastries, pies and cakes!!!! Always looking beautifully delicious and professional. Go visit it and treat yourself if you haven't already!
Very friendly and helpful staff. The guy who served us was enthusiastic and knowledge, and happy to make recommendations. The food was good too. Generous serving sizes and quality ingredients. We sat outside and I think this was the worst part about it, the outdoor seating is close to the road. Overall it's worth stopping at, especially if you can find a park.
EDIT. Thankyou for the complementary coffee. Went in yesterday, the staff were lovely and the coffee great. Will have to stop again next time we are passing. Long road home from Hawera wanted to stop for something sweet and a decent coffee. The 2 bee stings were stale. And it was only 11am so guessing they were not freshly made today. The 2 coffees were made by 2 different people. Mums coffee was really good. She was happy. Mine was trim made by a lady with glasses and it literally burned the top of my mouth and was not pleasant to drink until we were nearly in Cambridge WAY TOO HOT
Yummy variety of pies, BLAT Rolls Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado Tomato and other variety of rolls and sandwiches. Beautiful and yummy pastry
Had heard so much about this bakery - so stopped on a cold wet day and tried a pie!! PERFECT! Yummy food.....next time will sample their donuts!!!
Steak pie and falafel roll, both were delicious and customer service excellent!
My wife just came home with a tea bun and pie from Viands. The tea bun was so fresh and the bacon and mushroom pie was excellent. Thanks Viands Bakery
After a huge hype up I wasn't all that impressed. The pies had barely enough filling and the bun I bought was stale. Will try again but not in a hurry. EDIT: Came back on my way to Mokau grabbed another Mince n Cheese pie and it was world's better. I also grabbed an espresso cronut which was rich and delicious, I needed help eating it haha. Thank you for asking me back it has certainly improved and it will be a stop I make when coming thru
Absolutely incredible food, amazing coffee and outstanding service. If I could give 1000000 stars I would. .
