Veranda Waiheke Island

This is a fantastic interior store. I have been looking everywhere for some pure linen sheet sets and I found some here that were much much cheaper than the same product in Newmarket. They also had this amazing range of waterproof jackets, beamed rain that had an incredible feel to them. I was so tempted to buy so many things here

Lovely shop in waiheke with great gift ideas. However, I purchased some of the local cheeseboard honey- prior to purchasing- I was dubious that I would be able to bring it back to Australia, however, the shop assistant assured me “that’ll be totally fine for all states except WA”. Fast forward to arriving at Melbourne airport not in WA and going through customs- I’d declared the honey of course and so they wanted to have a look at it. Unfortunately, because this honey has honeycomb in it- it is too much of a risk to allow it into Australia. Very disappointed, and please, all staff at veranda, stop telling people they can take the honey to Aus just to get a sale.

Far more than a home goods store. .. If you're in search of a fantastic rain coat... HEAD HERE STRAIGHT AWAY! Also a lovely selection of silk pajamas. Check it out for sure.
