My friend and I had a fantastic time on the 1.5hr Taster. Having grown up around Taupo and the lake, this experience was nonetheless magical. Our trip had gloomy weather for mid July which I think made it even more special. Highly recommend to locals and visitors! Thank you Ian!!
We had a wonderful day, Ian was very informative and made us feel very comfortable. It is a must do while at Taupo. The Western Bay is just so beautiful and untouched. Would highly recommend.
Amazing experience! What a great opportunity to see a whole new side of Lake Taupo. Although he looked questionable, Ian is an amazing host and incredible skipper especially is such rough conditions, absolutely amazing experience and will be doing it again!

Oh wow, what an incredible experience we had out at the Western Bays on the lake. We are locals and really enjoyed seeing a side of the lake we don't usually see. Ian is a gracious host and shared some great local tidbits of info on the journey. The boat is very comfortable and the views amazing. Can't wait to rebook for a longer trip. Fabulous outing for locals and visitors alike. Crystal waters, waterfall visits on the boat, and after a short walk in the bush. Not to mention the private beaches. Just magic! Thanks Ian. The family loved it.
