Great food, great service! I got the gnocchi in truffle cream and my partner got the meatball pasta. Mama Mia! I looove the truffle cream so much I ordered a serving of garlic bread to mop up the cream. The meatballs taste like they are made in house and not frozen store bought ones. We also ordered the crumbed eggplant for our entrée. Omg, I never knew eggplant could taste like this! The manager on duty, Mamta, really completed the entire experience. She made us feel right at home with her superb service.
Okay hear me out. This place may have American music. But I tell you what, AMAZING Italian food. The Gnocchi is creamy, balanced spaghetti puttanesca is balanced, spaghetti bolognese and amazing tomato sauce. If you're concerned about drinks, the negroni is phenomenal.
Perfect cozy Italian restaurant for a date night spot!!! We had the meatball cocktail for entree and pork ragu and italian sausage pasta for mains. They were all filling and tasted fantastic with our white wines. Staff were all very nice, and accomodating. Will recommend to friends and coming back again to try the rest of the menu! Vegetarian options: Lot's of vegetarian options to choose from
A little gem in Kingsland. Delicious Italian food, every mouthful was spot on. It’s a very small restaurant but the food and service is really good. Our knowledgeable waitress was passionate about the food she helps cook. The Italian and Spanish red wine we ordered was lovely and smooth, we polished off two bottles with a table of 4. And they were playing Italian music, helped with the ambience. Will be back again.
The chicken fettuccine was absolutely amazing! Definitely the best chicken fettuccine I have ever had. Would definitely recommend giving it a try. Also had a tropical juice and it was fantastic! Definitely ordering that again. This place needs more attention that it is currently getting.
Safe to say that it was perhaps one of, if not, the worst dining experiences we have had. Our waitress was impolite and barely uttered a word to us throughout the course of the meal. Not a smile, little eye contact and no conversation despite our best efforts to remain polite and courteous - it felt like we were sitting on knives the whole time. Certainly not a pleasant experience in the slightest, we both felt like we were doing something wrong. We were given warm water rather than cold and our food portions, although tasty props to the chef!, were very small. I understand that we paid half price for the food through First Table, but it shouldn't mean half portions too; we were both left hungry and were not offered any more drinks or dessert. Our waitress did not come to check on us to see if we were enjoying our food either. Food came out exceptionally quickly, something which we were pleased with, and the payment was quick but thorough. Overall, a very disappointing experience to what was a special anniversary night. We will certainly not be returning.
It was a great experience. We had a lovely and friendly host. The food preparation was timely, and the atmosphere was fantastic. And of course the food was amazing. Loved the experience, and we will be there again soon...Food: 5/5
Please take this as positive criticism as I would love to see your place do well as it seemed very quiet there compared to a lot of the surrounding restaurants at the time. The food was very tasty and the potions sizes were fine compliments to the chef, however the older lady acting front of house was less than pleasant. On arriving she looked very solemn, never smiled or even said a word to greet us. She just pointed to a table which hadn't even been cleaned properly for us to sit at near the rear of the restaurant. When we asked if we could sit at a table closer to the front window she just coldly said "no". She didn't come to ask if our food was ok at any stage and after eating our mains we waited a while before having to ask her if we could see the dessert menu only to again be told simply "no". The only time she looked slightly happy is when we paid for our meal. We were on the "first table" offer but I would assume it still meant we would get normal welcoming service? Would love to come back for the food someday but the service needs some work. Thanks.
Food was good and well seasoned, but the service makes me never want to come back. The server was rude, served us old wine and had always an expression like “leave now”. We stayed there 40 minutes and there was no one else eating, so she wasnt even busy. Definitely not worth the experience.
Had the most delicious gnocchi . We were a group of 4 gals. Loved our dinner and had a great time catching up lotsa chats n giggles. Great for intimate gatherings and great food. Will definitely be back . Thank you xo
