Christchurch will celebrate World Vegetarian and World Animal Days at Christchurch’s first Vegan Expo on Sunday, October 8, 2017 (hosted by the Christchurch Vegetarian Centre). The expo has been fully vegan since 2012 and this year's name change reflects that. The expo will also move to the Air Force Museum of New Zealand, in Wigram, where there's more space and lots of on-site parking.
Christchurch is New Zealand’s vegetarian capital with more on offer for vegetarians and vegans than anywhere else in the country. Over 10,000 vegetarians live here and the Vegan Expo is our Big Day Out where all are welcome to come and share a day with us.
