Didn’t know if this place until we went there for an event. Great facilities and the rafting was fun. The team is quite engaging and got those who were rafts involved with some fun activity. Would have been great if there was a cafe. But only had dispensing machines.
I'm the chair of our companies Woods social club, and we organized for 21 people to go White Water Rafting at Vector Wero in Feb 2024 for the second year in a row.nnIn my boat we were instructed by Sebastian who was super lovely and clear. He took us through as many different experiences as he could within the time frame and always checked on our comfort and security.nnI can't speak for my colleagues in the other boats but I'm confident they also had an amazing time.nnThe induction was really reassuring, and I felt really safe in such a controlled and monitored environment.nnWe got to ride and surf the rapids, tip the boat, and go down the Pump Waterfall.nnThe water wasn't cold either which was great.nnI highly recommend going in the front of the boat, even just once
We were absolutely thrilled with our experience at Wero yesterday for my son's 13th birthday. With a group of seven—three adults and four kids—we all had a blast with the white water rafting, which felt like it lasted a solid two hours! Following that adventure, we enjoyed the more relaxing events of the day: kayaking and paddle boarding. The guides were incredibly experienced and knowledgeable, especially our guide, Yuba, from Nepal - who made us feel safe and well taken care of! His guidance allowed my son to take charge of the boat for a round on the rapids, which was undoubtedly the highlight of his day. The amenities at Wero are extensive, offering showers, changing rooms, and spacious areas to set up for the day. However, I would suggest bringing your own lunch setup, as the options are limited to vending machines. A huge thank you to the team for making such a fantastic first impression of the place—we're already planning our next visit! Yuba you're the best!
Such an epic experience white water rafting here! I have been white water rafting before in nature in South Africa - so to compare a man-made version was such a cool opportunity. We had a ball & so many laughs with excellent guides who were encouraging & checking in to make sure we were all fine. I loved rafting towards the rapids & with a powerful team of women behind me. We then also had a lovely platter table with everyone afterwards to debrief and relax to check out their conference rooms overlooking the activity space. Most definitely recommend for service, conference venues, activity and customer service. Thank you, Vector Wero Team!
We did the family combo for 4 kids, kids had a great time on the free play session after the rafting and got to go on kayak and SUPs both Giant & singles. The rafting itself on the Tamariki course wasn't the most exciting, a good experience but no request to do it again from the group; we will wait till the kids are old enough for the bigger Grade3 course & Pump Fall. Favourite part was when they got to jump into the rapids and floated down the course.
