I did my first online order yesterday, and it arrived today!! So quick, it was really unexpected. And you can pay by bank deposit if you don't want to pay by credit card, which I thought was cool.
An excellent little speciality store up the top of the famous Cuba St, Wellington. They have a fantastic selection of vegan foods and even treats! Virtually everything you could think of- vegan cheeses, frozen meals, tinned goods, herbs and spices, cakes, dry goods. It's worth going for a look, even if you aren't vegan. The staff are super friendly, and always happy to answer any questions about their goods for sale.
Quite small, but has an interesting assortment of vegan items, and the staff are very helpful and enthusiastic. They also stock a range of cakes and pastries from local bakeries. Strongly recommend grabbing a medialuna!
Great cozy store to suit your vegan needs. They have a good variety of edibles and cosmetics to choose from. The staff are helpful and friendly. As an FYI to those not in the know, you don't need to be a card-carrying vegan to frequent the store.
Lovely little shop, great service, while primarily a vegan store there are decent GF options as well.
This little shop has everything a vegan needs, from B12 to nutritional yeast! The pick and mix sweets are well curated and the Fellow Cafe donuts and the pastries from Aurora Medialunas are must tries.
I shop online with V1 and their service and products are amazing. Makes being vegan so easy when they offer such delicious alternatives. Can find things here that no-one else seems to stock. Love this place!
Great idea, lots of neat little items that are hard to find elsewhere, however a vast majority of the products here are available in New World. Great place if you're into vegan because it's fashionable, though.
We had a hard time finding specific low-waste/ethical products in stores living in Nelson, so were very happy to find them in V1 while visiting Wellington! There is a surprising number of high quality products for such a small space. To be honest, when we walked up to the store we thought it would be too small to have what we were looking for but we were completely wrong. The gentleman who helped us was very friendly too!
Amazing little place.. they've got all the vegan basics you need, and a bit more! So nice and generous people working there! You're making a beautiful change in this world, also spreading the vegan message and making it easily available.
