The beach is very long and flat,the car can drive on the beach.nnIt is a really really beautiful beach!I wanna go there again.
I walked there, from Ruakaka today as I do most days. The beach was beautiful though was different due to the north easterly wind. That washed up more plastics which I collected and are now out to be recycled. It is a great part of NZ.
Waipu is famous for crab catch but also very dangerous need to well protected and knowing tide schedule
Great campsite. Beach is long and great for walks. Basic facilities.
