First time here and the experience was really nice! Friendly staff, great food and great atmosphere. We sat outside as the weather was great. Overall experience lived up to expectations. Cosy Environment and Wonderful Menu for Dinner The morning cafe is a nice bistro at dinner time. Cosy atmosphere and wonderful menu. The decor was warm and inviting, and the lighting created a relaxed and intimate mood. The menu was simply amazing. There were good delicious options to choose from. I tried the pork belly, and it was absolutely delicious.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff they are Patient and polite great service. Fast service and good selection of cabinet and menu items. Would highly recommend. The chicken waffle delicious!!
A great scape to have a good meal!The place was quite full and they delivered the plates fast! Two Chicken Waffles, what I really recommend. They also have natural juice. The place is modern, spacious with clean bathrooms and nice car park. The staff were very gentle and friendly.
Nice place for brunch and yummy hot chocolate. Their chocolate milkshake and pancakes are not overly sweet so it is a good choice for brunch especially when paired with toasties and chips. We ordered large hot choc but a tiny glass came so not sure if the order came wrong or that's their actual serve. While talking and eating, staff wanted to take our plate away that still had food so on the third attempt we gave up. This made it feel rushed considering it was a reserved booking. Perhaps an alternative would have been to check if we needed water or wanted more items. Normally, having the plates cleared is a good gesture but it all depends on the approach. Simply wanting to take the plates away without asking if we are done eating is a bit rude.
Nice place, clean, and spacious. Food was pretty good, but not amazing. Chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy. They have surcharge for holiday and also credit surcharge.
We visited Urban soul for a valentines lunch date with hubby. We were after a steak and or lamb but what was served were delicious lamb burger and fish and chips. We love it. Wished that upstairs was open. Other than that we enjoyed. Thank you Urban Food: 4/5
Overall a nice place, nice decor, has huge potential even though it is still busy. For the whole table everything was there but something missing or something under par, poached eggs should have runny yolk not hard, chicken and waffles over cooked, Wagyu Burger should be juicy, do I cross the highway to many other cafes or do I come back and try again…..
Food selection is amazing. Only tried the roulade, which was nice, but simply may require some more salt when cooking to bring out the flavours. Look forward to trying it again sometime.
We decided to visit this cafe in Karaka as they said that it is known for quality food, great coffee and friendly customer service and flagged as one of Auckland’s Best Cafes. We went there for Saturday late lunch and everything seems fine. We don't have reservation but we're able to find a table. Staff is friendly. We ordered Nasi Goreng, Urban Soul breakfast and drinks. The issue started when they delivered the food to our table and surprisingly, that's not our order. Then they served as the drinks, but still - not our order. My husband and I we're talking and didn't notice the time passed by and we still not have our meal. So I went to the counter and made a follow up. They served our drinks but no food at all. I made a second follow up, the staff looks surprised - went to the kitchen to check. Finally, we got our food! Yay! Looks like they didn't prepare our order until I followed up. for whatever reasons. Too bad. In fairness, the food is good and tasty. Price is competitive. Our experience should have been better if we didn't wait for almost an hour for our food to arrived.
