Story

Urban Dogs provides a safe and fun environment where dogs can play, exercise and gain the mental and physical stimulation they require.

Urban Dogs offers a quality service with exceptional standards. Our staff are highly qualified and have over 30 years combined experience working with dogs and a real passion for what they do.

We have 8 different areas to best look after the individual needs of the dogs.

We are an all-weather facility and offer multiple services:
• Dog Day Care
• Dog Training
• Bathing and nails
• Doggy swimming club
• Field trips
• Pick-ups / drop offs
• Doggy country retreat stays
• Doggy cinema
• Dog behaviour classes for adults and children

We practise an "open environment". Clients may come into the day care when dropping-off their dog, and see them settle in with their friends.

We believe in supporting the local community and are strong supporters of dog welfare groups. We hold dog charity events, fundraisers and donate products to the welfare groups. In addition, our Christmas dog food drive collects approx. 200kg of donations every Christmas.

We are recommended and used by vets.

We moved late last year so our dog needed to find a new daycare.  We were recommended Urban Dog by a friend & Matty hasn't looked back, literally each time I drop him off he runs to the girls and forgets about me. They are so loving & caring as if u our dog is their own, that's really why Matty settled in so quickly & he's 7 & a half years old. They also offer farm visits at an added cost but Matty just loves these, he comes home very tired. Definitely recommend these lovely ladies.

I feel very lucky that I came across Urban Dogs. I was very hesitant about sending my small dog to a doggy daycare because past experiences had been dictated by rude and uncaring staff, premises that reeked of dog urine and the sound of dogs barking the whole time. As soon as I stepped into Urban Dogs for a meet and greet I had the complete opposite experience! ALL the staff there are absolutely lovely and so passionate about their jobs and their customers. They really go the extra mile and my dog is so happy every time we pull up, she runs in without a moments hesitation. I feel very confident in leaving my dog in their care and the farm trips are such a treat for them! They treat all the dogs like their own and I'm pretty sure Reign would love to go home with them instead! I have recommended Urban Dogs to anyone that is looking for a doggy daycare. My German Shepherd has been attending the daycare for some months and is always super excited when we arrive. She already has a special connection with the staff, being a shy dog this was a huge green flag for us. The Urban Dogs team are great about sending through pictures of her and updates about her progress, and have been extremely helpful and prompt when communicating via email.

Fabulous team at Urban Dogs. Our puppy Rocco loves it there.  He was a bit anxious at first, so the team offered some training for him to make him feel more comfortable.  The puppy class that is offered with Urban Wolves was great for him too.  Love all of the photo updates.  Highly recommend!

Great people who obviously love what they do. My dog  Angus was a bit nervous but they were all so incredibly patient with him.  He runs in without a look back and I feel happy to have him at Urban Dogs secure in the knowledge that he was a safe and well looked after!

Really appreciate the care they've taken with our dogs. Our older girl is a bit on the crazier side while our younger boy is still working on his independence. All the staff have been understanding and make sure to give us progress updates regularly to keep our minds at ease

I have just started taking our small dog to Urban Dogs daycare and couldn't be happier with the result. The staff really makes sure she knows she is in a safe place, to the point where, when we are getting close to the centre, our dog gets excited to be returning. Many thanks team

Started taking our wee guy to Urban Dogs in November, he loves it there and gets super excited when we drive in. The team are wonderful and friendly, so glad we found them!

A big thank you to Leanne and crew for taking such great care of KoKo for me while we were away.  It's so much easier going away knowing that my baby will be taken such good care of. Can't thank you enough.
