Group Training - Personal Training - Goal Setting
We offer:
Functional Fitness, Strength Training & Conditioning, Personal Training and Kids Fitness Classes
We are a small, local, community gym. We offer personal training in small group sessions so you can get the benefits of a personal trainer without the price tag. We do early morning, mid-morning, evening classes and a Saturday session. There are 14 sessions available a week plus kids afternoon sessions during school term.
We have two styles of class: A circuit based class and a strength focused class.
- The circuit classes focus on high intensity interval training, incorporating functional movements to help you in your everyday activities. This includes body weight movements like push ups as well as equipment based exercises like kettle bell swings.
- The strength class generally excludes cardio work (except maybe a short work out at the end to get your heart rate up). We select a small number of movements for each block (usually 10 weeks). We test at the beginning and end of each block working towards increasing individual strength for each movement. Movements we have focused on in the past have been squats, deadlifts, and overhead press.
We pride ourselves on being a highly motivated and supportive group for people from all walks of life and fitness levels. We like our members to have goals, whether it be fitness related or not, so we can help you achieve something and stay focused.
