ABOUT YOUR TRAINER:
UpriZe Fitness with Zar Lawrence is located in the mount maunganui ,Bay of plenty offering personal Training and Group fitness for weight loss, toning, High performance Fitness also Team building .
We are a Mobile Service, which can be set up at various locations around the Tauranga region, even at a client’s own backyard (If required).
I am a qualified personal Trainer through the open polytechnic and New Zealand Institute of health and fitness. My experience is through the sports and fitness industry mainly being rugby.
I have played for New Zealand at the 15s level being in the maori all Blacks team in 2006 and 2008 also the New Zealand sevens team for close to six years.
The sevens team has had a huge impact on my life, Teaching me skills and work ethic needed for this industry such as discipline, time management, Resilience, Confidence, leadership among all of them. Being at this level for over 5 years I now know what it takes to perform and maintain health and fitness levels to stay there.
Growing up in the far north and having limited opportunities has taught me to take any opportunity or better yet to make your own way to succeed in whatever your dreams or goals are. With the experiences I have had, I now have the motive to give back to anyone who thinks that they can’t do it, to people who struggle to achieve anything, or just generally need an extra push in the right direction to success.
Making a positive change and uplifting change in people’s lives through sport, health and fitness is held high in my focus of life.
