Would give 6 stars if I could for those pies alone! Mince double cheese and jalapeños was the bomb! Pies so good , you cant just have one! Asked the lovely ladies for recommendation and they suggested pork belly pie as a second. Tasted like sunday roast , just heart warming. This place made me happy and satisfied. Its the shizzle.Food: 5/5
Really great food. Fresh pie's and sausage rolls. Fresh cream and jam cakes. Great coffee. Strong tea. Nothing impressive to look at. Just another roadside bakery but by the number of customers you understand straight away this is a great place to grab a coffee and a snack. Also friendly service and great prices. Definitely a place to stop at just out of Mount Maunganui.
I've tried all the bakery's in the area by this bakery and my work mates and I all agree that this is the best tasting and value for money in the area I even tried the deli at New World across the road trust me it's delicious Parking: Easy Kid-friendliness: Awesome the best skatepark in the country is across the road trust me Wheelchair accessibility: Just roll in its at ground level so shouldn't be a problem
I WAS THRILLED TO SEE THE OLD SCHOOL DONUTS FROM THE 60s. I couldn't resist buying one. Mince n cheese pies are a winner too.
Amazing fruit doughnuts! I'm only in Tauranga once a year, but when there, I make a point to stop in for their delicious and fresh doughnuts! They also have a good selection of pies, bread & other bakery items.

We love this bakery! By far the best pies in the area. Have tried the jalapeno & cheese, blue vein steak, steak & cheese and pork & apple and they were all delicious. Donuts are so good too.Food: 5/5
$6.50 for a Mince & Cheese pie that had a funny taste. Can’t recommend.Food: 1/5
Had a lovely Chicken Sweet Chilli bun and a flat white with Almond Milk. Barabara makes amazing coffee so ask if shes on to make one. Coffee is up there with the best of them. Milk alternatives available - Almond and Soy
