I have used them for a few years now. Always accommodating and friendly. Pour today had the driver giving us a hand to finish. Wouldn't deal with anyone else, especially here in the Wairarapa.
Upper Hutt Ready Mix poured concrete for our neighbour. They placed a wooden board under the legs of the truck that was pumping the concrete. This board was right next to my garage wall. The board bowed and when the leg was removed a large dip was in the footpath and it exposed the base of my garage. I'm concerned that we may sustain water damage into the garage.nI've left two messages asking them to fix the damage they have done but have heard nothing.nReally unimpressed.
Hi All, our exposed drive way of 290m2 and is in Tawa. Upper Hutt Ready Mix were contracted to supply 18m3 of exposed aggerate in 6% black oxide with FIBRE MESH! . But half way through, the 3rd truck turned up without oxide, which mean they has to return to upper hutt from tawa. This meant a cold joint bad had to be done in our new drive. No excuses or apologies then on the delivery dockets we find out a month later had NO fiber mesh included. This was major - however Upper Hutt simple disregarded this and thought nothing of it. This could have significant effect on the concrete drive and the amount of cracking but Upper Hutt Ready Mix didn't want to know. My opinion, if a contractor does not stand buy their product - STAY CLEAR. Use a trust worthy concrete supplier, not Upper Hutt Ready Mix!
