Story

Beim Cricket World Cup 2015 wurden hier drei Vorrundenspiele ausgetragen.

A beautiful location to watch the cricket, especially when the Black Caps beat Australia in a game that went down to the last ball
The University of Otago Oval is a sports ground located at Logan Park, Dunedin, New Zealand, and owned by the Dunedin City Council. The ground was originally owned by the University of Otago, but ownership was transferred to the city council when a redevelopment was completed in the early 2000s. The ground is the home of both the Otago Cricket Association and the University of Otago Rugby Football Club, and is also used as a training base for the Highlanders Rugby Football team. The University of Otago Oval hosted the first game where the Umpire Decision Review System was officially used,[1] after a test run in Sri Lanka in
A beautiful tree-lined ground with a main pavilion and a grandstand at one end, and plenty of flat grassy banks for spectators, the playing area was expanded and the pitch rotated ahead of Otago switching there in 2004. It had been used occasionally for major cricket since 1978-79. In 2007-08 it hosted its first Test, becoming New Zealand's seventh Test venue, but its second, in December 2008 against West Indies, was controversial because considerable time was lost to rain and the facilities and groundstaff came in for much criticism.
I used to love going to the Uni Oval to watch NZ play cricket, but in recent seasons it's been more and more ambiguous to figure out how on earth to secure seats in the stands. No worries if you like the embankment, but if you prefer the stands, then consider TV instead.
It was great experience to watch 1st international T20 held at this ground. A nail biting contest.
Great place to go watch cricket on a #dunnersstunner day.
One of the finest Cricket Ground in New Zealand. University Oval is a great venue for the spectators at large and has undergone so many changes over the past few years and it is considered as one of the best venues for Cricket in New Zealand. Come and Enjoy & Be a part of this exciting venue!! Cheers!!
A great venue but very sad watching the cricket there today . I think we are all adult's and can decide on buying drinks, being asked to look into our eyes and how we can walk as a pre requisite to but a beer or wine totally and utterly disgusting. After watching the last game at Hagley Oval in Christchurch it was belittling to be treated in this manner and having choices made for us.
There was no match when I went there but I was lucky enough to go inside and took some images of this ground. It was beautiful ground. There is one stand which gives you a eye-catching view of ground. This is not a big ground like others. It is mentioned very well.
Great small ground, easy to get around, reasonable facilities
