Situated in one of wellingtons historic buildings, our unique location isn’t the only thing that sets us apart from the norm, We are a shop with a different approach to tattooing, our creative artists work closely with you to create the tattoo you deserve helping you put your thought’s and ideas on to skin. We specialize in custom one off tattoos by appointment but also welcome walk ins. first-timers, old timers, ladies, gentlemen, rascals and royalty. Every tattoo is individual and important to us. Our resident artist’s regularly travel around New Zealand and overseas constantly learning and pushing our art forward, striving to be the best we can be and stay at the forefront of modern tattooing.

Got a very simple tattoo I’d drawn, was super excited about it and overall had a bad experience. Craig didn’t introduce himself, just told me to sit down, told me he couldn’t make the tattoo I want on my body any smaller only to do that after I asked again, and then pressed too hard. The lines are shaky, in some places hardly there, and do not even line up on the corners. Even though i came for a simple tattoo, I would expect better and honestly would warn anyone ahead of time that it appeared he gave zero care towards a walk in. Sad that I will have to get my first tattoo touched up when he could have spent 10 more minutes on it and fixed everything.Service: Tattoos
Got my first tattoo here with Craig. Just a little one and it was minimum charge but everyone was really nice and relaxed. Quite a bright and social environment so not stressful. I emailed through my design and the sizing and got a spot because someone else cancelled.
Union Tattoo is easily my top recommendation for piercings in the city. Will the Piercer is especially excellent to work with - kind, patient, great communication. The best in town!

Craigy is said to be “world-renowned” tattoo artist but unfortunately I got a very simple tattoo words which he tattooed too deep. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but now I permanently have a tattoo that is blown out. I've had tattoos from both Tash and Harriet who I very much recommend - but going to him is just not worth the risk...Service: Tattoos

Went a few weeks ago to get my tragus, rook, and helix done! Was able to get an appointment for me and two friends at reasonably short notice. Will is super professional, extremely knowledgeable, and has wicked banter! All the placement and jewellery recommendations Will made were spot on! All three piercings are healing way faster than I thought and I'll be back for more! :
