Unichem Whangarei Pharmacy

Excellent service from a clearly over worked staff over Christmas. The pharmacy was extremely busy and I personally witnessed the professional and friendly service given to all.

Always so friendly and helpful. Very vigilant about changes to my medication and checking with me before filling the script then have often checked up on me to see how the new doses are working. Makes me feel like they care and I'm not just an NHI in there system. Would definetly recommend this pharmacy, best one I've ever gone to.

Did a phone order and got it delivered, great customer service on the phone.

Never had an issue with my mums prescriptions, until we started getting them sent to this pharmacy. Now its multiple problems, from them trying to say a repeat isn't due/not dispensing the right amount, to saying they never received prescriptions, even though multiple calls to the dr, who states otherwise. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

Went in yesterday afternoon Sunday 18 July man at the front counter was extremely rude..i asked about otc inhalers, which you can get btw it was weekend my gp was closed.. he cuts me off n snarkily tells me to go next door to White Cross.. so i hand him the cough medicine which he tries to overcharge me for ?! I told him not to worry about it and went down the rd to The Chemist Warehouse where I received great customer service, was given a inhaler, and all for literally half the price Unichem charges. I will never shop there again they may have been the only after hours shop but The Chemist Warehouse is open till 9pm everyday why go anywhere else???

They are very helpful in making up blister packs and checking that the prescription is correct

Rocelle was absolutely amazing providing care for my 94 year old grand mother whilst waiting to see a doctor at the adjacent Whitecross. Whitecross refused to give us a dressing for my Nana's hand. Which at the time was covered with a hanky that I was concerned would stick to her wound..... which she kept bumping. I popped next door to the pharmacy and bought a sterile dressing. Rochelle accompanied me back to Whitecross and dressed my Nanas hand beautifully. Thank you so much Rochelle for your incredible customer service! All businesses should strive to be as good. Mx

Loud receptionists. Not good if you wanted discreetness, privacy...could hear her voice outside the closed doors.
