Simons Pharmacy has been part of the Tawa community for well over 50 years. In 2015 we combined forces with Drummonds allowing us to give you twice as much care in the local community! We make an effort to know our customers by name, which means you can trust us to give friendly, professional and considered advice and services that contribute to your health and well-being. Come in for all your health and beauty needs.

Last year they substituted with a lower mg without notifying me as the higher mg is phased out found out later as other pharmacy notified me. Letting me know ahead could have saved the concern. Another one this year took 12 days, was first told it may arrive in 4 days but I called on 11th day and they were just about to order it. If I hadn't called and told I already need it they would have forgotten for weeks!
Very challenging time for local chemists with wholesale competition, covid19 and staff shortages. This chemist provides a good service and I would recommend them.
Highly recommend. I know these guys have great services and systems in place from firsthand experience. All the negative reviews are people simply too impatient to wait a few minutes because of Covid restrictions.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The wait on prescriptions are not long. I will keep going there to get whatever I need.
Overall it is a good chemist. But there service is shocking. I want to my doctor yesterday and found that now send prescriptions to the chemist. I went to the chemist as I didnt recive a notification from them this morning. I went and asked about my prescription and they said it would take about 10 or 15 minutes. I said I would come back as I had shopping to do. I went back and and asked and was told that it would be ready in a few minutes. To me a few minutes means about 4 minutes not 12 minutesand I am a person with Autism. So that's why they only get one star for there poor service today. Other times they have provided great service and the better servicexthe better review from me
I always enjoyed the friendly manner of this pharmacy now they are just rude and I won't be using them anymore.
can't believe you left a sick pregnant women outside in the freezing cold rain when you were supposed to open 5 minutes prior. y'all were just all standing in there watching me freeze! then karen avoids my question about nasal spray completely and says good morning LOL
Highly recommend going elsewhere, owner is incredibly rude and has a real attitude problem. Lots of other pharmacy's around that are professional and caring.
Simons Pharmacy had been recommended to me by close and discerning friends who told me that the staff interest and service put them a level ahead. That was truly the case and I shall make a point of returning to this trustworthy organisation for future pharmaceutical requirements.
Never have a problem getting my scripts filled. They have a good range of other drugs and accessories as well. Plenty of parking out the front too.
