Great way to do the Milford Track. Awesome to be able to experience the open outdoors and magnificent vista's but to combine a long day of walking with 5-star accommodation, great meals and wonderful hot showers. Really loved meeting some awesome people... both the guides and fellow walkers have fantastic back stories. I'm ready to walk it all over again as it is an experience that is never the same twice!
Had an amazing experience hiking the Routeburn track! Our guides, Ben, Neco, Elissa, and Charlotte were all great and made sure everyone was taken care of. We lucked out with perfect weather allowing for stunning views. Lodges were comfortable and the food was good. Plus, we met great friends during our 3 days together. If we return, we’re definitely booking another hike with them.
Such a fantastic experience walking the Routeburn track with Ultimate Hikes. The staff were all friendly & helpful and put on a great trip. The accommodation & meals were first class. Nice to get to the lodge have a hot shower followed by wine & cheese
Just completed the Routeburn track with Ultimate Hikes. The trip was amazing and the team were so friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. Totally recommend this trip to anyone of average fitness with a love for the great outdoors.
Wow! These guys are amazing. What an incredible guided hike through the beautiful Milford Track. The Ultimate Hikes guides are super nice, helpful, and fun. The lodges were all beautiful. The food was delicious. We had a super fun group of co-hikers. Couldn't have been a better trip. So thankful!
We went on a sensational Milford Track guided walk. Ultimate Hikes were so very well organised. All the staff were helpful, friendly, well prepared and professional whether before, during or after the walk. We would use them again without hesitation. It truly deserves its reputation as one of the world's greatest.

Had the best time on our recent Grand Traverse hike. Guides Ben,Jen and Abbey were great, lodge staff and food were also fantastic. Highly recommend. We are looking forward to our next trip with UH.
Awesome experience from start to finish hiking the Routeburn. Every detail had been thought about which made for an enjoyable and memorable walk through some epic landscapes. Shout out to our awesome guides Elissa, Charlotte, Lara & Jaime!
Should be on your bucket list. Challenging walks medium / good level of fitness needed, but you can go at your own pace. NZ South Island scenery is incredible. Guides are really cool, friendly and knowledgeable. Ultimate Hikes lodges and food are excellent.
