Ugly Dumpling NZ

This was a great experience. It offered the choice of healthy salads, a variety of chinese meat dishes and omelette 3 choices per meal, with a choice of noodles or rice as accompaniment. Buffet style so no waiting. Friendly service too. Price was right for the meal. 2 size options. Yum food.

Ordered seafood noodles and it came with surprises. Presentation was quite pleasing with heaps of seafood and great flavour!!!

Lots of vegan options. Been staying at a hotel for 4 weeks and ugly dumpling have been our fave place for lunch. Great value for money, big portions and super friendly staff.

Menu was quite misleading and the food was full of oil and not much flavour. Refused to accept any complaint or fault for the oiliness of the meal or the inaccurate menu description.

I love dumplings!!! These were ok, done in the large flat style whereas I prefer smaller, fatter ones. Not much filling and the wrapper was quite thick. Vinegar & chili oil supplied & soy sauce on the table.

Food was great, really enjoyed the portion size as it was enough for me to take home later and I usually don't leave anything on the plate

The rice bowls are well priced although options of dishes are limited. However there are a lot of other food options available ranging from soup noodles to fried noodles and rice. Dumplings are decent too and staff are friendly and polite. 1 of the better options in the area.
