Had a lovely walk here, but not As scenic as I anticipated from the reviews. Good for running in the morning.
A pleasant riverside track, which makes a nice 7.5km loop from Brightwater - pick up the Great Taste Trail on Ellis Street, follow the signs to the walkway, then loop around and return via a 1km on-road section back to the start. The walkway itself is approx 5km from end to end.
My favourite place for a walk or quick bike ride along the trail.
My husband Brian really enjoys biking here its handy to Brightwater and lovely location. People seem to use this area regularly.nBRIGHTWATER really is very fortunate to have this beautiful Area for cycling or walkingnCheck it out for yourself
This is a lovely walk. It took longer than we expected as the time must allow for walking back along the road to complete the circuit to get back to your vehicle. Lots of cyclists. Lots of dog walkers. Great river views.
