The staffs were super friendly and helpful, and the food tasted nice and warm at a reasonable price. We ordered a quiche and a chicken croissant, and they taste amazing.nnWe got one Chai latte cold smoothie with a dirty chai, and they are both great. Though they served us two chai latte by mistake instead of one chai and one dirty chai, they quickly replaced it with my correct order with excellent services.nnWould 100% cone again next time when I visit the north.
The food was good but I found the scallotes dish overpriced for what I was served which was basically fries and salad... I thought that for the price it would be a good dish, in its favor I have to say that the fries were well done. The staff was friendly and the place looked clean.

Me and my daughter couldn’t decide whether to come here or go to the marina cafe. Besides the view there, the eggs bene is average so thought we would try here. So glad we did!nThe Monk eggs Benedict is delicious! The sauce is nice and wasn’t spared, the bacon is soft and crunchy in the right places, the ciabatta toasted perfectly. Wilted spinach is my fav on eggs bene. One of my eggs however was hard, usually I would be disappointed and send it back but I just couldn’t because even then, everything was still delicious. My daughter’s eggs were perfect though. Our Top 2 eggs bene we’ve had and we’ve tried almost every cafe in Whangarei. The young lady that served us was friendly and awesome. She gave us some of the tropical smoothie to try and it was so yummy, we will definitely be getting this next time along with their Monk breakfast. Highly recommend this place.
