Twin Rivers Community Gallery and Arts Centre

About

The Taumarunui Art Group & Twin Rivers Gallery Shop & Studio is a collective of artists based in the King Country who foster arts & crafts in the community

Story

The Taumarunui Art Group was formerly the Taumarunui Art Society and most recently now includes the "Twin Rivers Gallery and Shop" a community Gallery and studio which holds regular weekend workshops with the aim of fostering Arts and Crafts in the community.

We are a group of people in Taumarunui and surrounding Ruapehu area who practice or have an interest in the visual arts.

The Gallery is unique in offering artists the opportunity to exhibit their work with no commission up to $1000 in sales per month instead requiring artists to pay a flat fee of $10 per week in exchange for display space. The Gallery is staffed solely by volunteers... some of whom are exhibiting artists and others who are supporting the Arts in the Ruapehu District.
