Stopped here for petrol as reviews said it was available. The store was closed deposits the website saying it would be open and petrol pumps were broken and looked like they hadn't been used in years. Don't rely on this place for fuel.

Great little store to stop in if you're hungry, they give huge ice creams too. I'm always on the road and now its Summer time, its ice cream time. Will be stopping in next week
There is a cute little garden area with seating under shady trees. They have great chicken & chips to go, decent coffee, awesome range of rolled ice cream, ice blocks and cold drinks. They offer clean rest rooms and there is friendly staff with great local information and post facilities too. It is worth a visit at State Highway 2 near to the Lake in Hawke's Bay.
They go above and beyond to please everyone. Always a smile, always a happy face. Can't ask for more than that. Their job is not easy!
Nice little yard beside shop, with trampoline and swingset. Lawn mown, garden neglected. No petrol or cigarettes for sale. Parking off SH2 available up side road.
