This is a wonderful little Thai restaurant located near the Fox River in Batavia Illinois. I've been visiting Tusk Thai for many years and has never disappointed me. The food is very authentic with my favorite being NumSod, larb and their Tom yum.
Family owned. Small, quiet setting. Tried a nice portion of the menu and let’s just say you won’t be disappointed! Chicken Satay and Thai fried rice are our favorites! We will be back soon
So far my favorite Thai restaurant in the Tricity area. The food was great, nice and varied selection of meals. Staff were incredibly sweet and attentive and very obviously are the heart of the place. Definitely recommend! Vegetarian options: Great veggie options! Kid-friendliness: yes! Parking: Parking garage right outside the building, street parking too. Wheelchair accessibility: Steep, but available.

Tusk Thai what a nice reunion tonight! We haven’t been to Tusk since pre-Covid and today was our first time back after a long time. The food was just as amazing as i remember it. It comes out hot and the portions are generous. Everything has a unique spice profile. This is authentic Thai food and if you haven’t been to Tusk you are missing out on one of the best Thai places in St Charles/batavia area. The service is wonderful. All of the staff are so warm and welcoming. We can’t wait to go back. We ordered tom yum soup, Tom kah soup, green curry, shrimp and coconut curry, and the peanut noodles. Yum.
What an absolute treat. It's in a quaint location right near downtown Batavia. The food was great. I ordered a Thai Iced coffee, which I've never had before but would get again.I had the green chicken curry for my entree, and it was easily some of the best I've had and had the perfect amount of spice. The service was great as well. It is a BYOB spot, so don't forget some booze if that's your thing. They do take reservations, and securing them is probably a good idea with how popular the restaurant is with locals.
$71 Phil's expensive for two dumplings two chicken satay one penang curry, one money bags that were completely burnt see picture one pot stickers two shrimp roll. Everything was overcooked It was busy when I picked it up and they clearly weren't paying attention to individual orders. Thai village is very close there's Penang in Geneva if they want regular business they need to up their game at this price for take out.
This was the best curry I’ve had so far.. I got yellow curry with shrimp and asked for spicy could’ve been spicier THE FLAVORS I was in disbelief. My sister got the green curry with chicken and said she was impressed. Tried the Thai spring roll for app, good but would try something different next time. Small place. Gets a little loud. Will be going back for sure
Personalized service. Chrysanthemum tea had the right floral notes without too much sweet. Panang noodles was spicy and tasty. The Tom Kar soup with coconut broth was light and delicious. The basil fried rice was made just right. They were so busy that they ran out of fried ice cream but maybe next time.
We have been coming here for years. It is always consistent, and the staff is always friendly. My only gripe is that I wish they would bring back lunches!Food: 5/5
