The pies were really good and the coffee best so far in NZ! Sandwiches looked so good we bought some for the road. Prices mean the food is great value. Make sure you stop by and try.
The spring roll is the most delicious I ever tasted! My husband loved his pie too. If I had a private plane to fly from the US I would eat here weekly! The only downside was the outright glares from the customers towards my daughter. She is mixed white/african american. NZ does not have much tolerance. We experienced this t/o visiting our family. My husband is a Kiwi. Not the restaurants fault just come on be nice people...
What a surprise of a gem. We mostly needed to use the toilet so stopped in to find the most delicious selection of pies, sandwiches and desserts! The desserts are delicate and impeccable. The pies were warm, meaty with a perfect pastry. My favourite was the cream filled doughnut - soft, flaky, not too sweet. I’d actually make a pit stop here for a quick, delicious lunch!
I have fish and batter and a sausage the battle was very nice and crisp but very fatty the fish was fresh which was nice and I found the sausage quite fatty as well
Amazing sandwiches, sweets, pies. Great place to stop for lunch!
