The pies were really good and the coffee best so far in NZ! Sandwiches looked so good we bought some for the road. Prices mean the food is great value. Make sure you stop by and try.
Great country bakery, big lots of space, fantastic choices of food from a variety of sandwiches thru to muffins and slices galore, thru to hot chicken, little cordon bleu’s and lasagnes, and menu available. Gluten free choices were more than most cafes- fabulous carrot cake muffins, lemon curd center muffins, ricie slice, caramel slice. Excellent quality, kids loved them, I got extra takeaway for dessert treats later.
A good cafe to drop in if you’re in the area. A wide variety of options to choose from the cabinet display or you can opt to order from their all day breakfast menu. Delicious fresh and unique flavours.nLots of good seatings inside and outside as well. Highly recommended.

The Turua Bakery Cafe is a staple amongst the locals on the Hauraki plains and in the Coromandel region. They provide the best pies and is also a great place to stop when traveling the Waikato. Customer service is always friendly and the food is tasty.nnYou won't come here for fancy decor or the views of the town, but you'll come back for the pie.
