I signed my 6 year old up for his first time swimming lessons. He had his assessment day, and then on his first day, Helene was trying to teach the kids freestyle and the breathing technique at the same time. She hadn’t explained to them that you put your head in and then turn to the side , have a breath and then put your face back in and then turn to the other side. The way she had demonstrated it was so confusing that my son started looking at me for explanation. She then started getting so frustrated with him that she literally started verbally exclaiming her frustration and throwing her hands in the air. This was my sons first time at any swimming lesson - ever. I then emailed her and asked her for a refund on the remaining time of the term that I had paid because I’d rather take my son elsewhere and know he’s going to be in the hands of someone who feels prepared to actually deal with little kids I paid for the whole term and she said no. I’m sorry but what?
Ive just started my son swimming with Turtle swim school and can't praise Helen enough. He had no swim ability when he started but has made so much progress. She is great with the kids and her teaching techniques are amazing.nI would definitely recommend Turtle swim school to anyone.
Our son developed a lot here whitin 5 weeks. He enjoys putting his eyes under water and jumping into the water.
