Clocked out after the gym tables are super comfortable
Was in this hall in 2022. The food is limited portions and of poor quality. If you are wanting catered hall I’d consider Ilam instead, as you can choose to drop catering at a later date when you realise how poor it is and overpriced. Rooms were okay, but smaller than some of other halls. The common areas on the ground floor were the only redeeming parts, and the staff were great for the most part.
living here is great for friends, utilities, and events, but food is actually so horrible. at the start of the year it was ok but now i actually get lightheaded coming down to dinner. either check the quality or don't come here.nnoverall, texture of the food is always odd and the flavour of everything is vague
For the price you pay for this hall you'd expect a certain level of comfort. The catered food is bad? How do you even fail at making rice? It's literally water and heat and you're done. The sauces are the only thing keeping the catered food together on most days. The design of the building means that certain rooms are extremely hot compared to others, to the point that it actually makes it difficult to sleep or study even with the window open and a desk fan going 24/7. The only reason I'm giving a second star is because the media and games room are good, the water fountain on the ground floor is a life saver, and the study room is actually a great place to study. You deserve better, and you can pay less for better.
I love it when people drink outside my dorm at 5am all exam week. Not like I want to do well or anything.
