Weather is bad but the site is perfect! It has water, clean toilet, shower kiwicash tag and pay, power for phone and kitchenware kiwicash tag and pay! Solid shelter provides a lot of convenience in a rainy day.
Great place to camp with a tent. Lots of grass to stay on, and only $5 per car per night. Toilets are very clean and the shelter is great for cooking and eating. Could use the power outlets for electricity, as well as a water kettle. Free water outside, but if you want to use the kitchen faucet and the showers, you have to use KiwiCash.
Lovely small town on the way to New Plymouth. Loo - shower if you purchase a cash key. Fresh water - gray water only drain. Small cabin with books and small kitchen - table with bench seats. Two picnic tables. Not suitable for those of you with large rigs.
Very clean bathrooms and showers. It’s not a real camping but a parking area.nThere is a small room, without heating, for cooking and dining.nWe visit during winter, it was very cold.
